If Kerry wins (and is recognized as the President)... |
|
...I will stop being cynical. What do you think? I will make it my New Year's resolution for 2005.

1. That's way to soon to stop being cynical. |
|
There is no way you can be cynical enough to keep up with the outrages of the power elite who sure won't go away when Kerry is elected.

5. Never stop questioning things, but one should always be hopeful. |

A Kerry administration makes me hopeful.

6. yeah, we need congress |
|
and if we win by say 10 or 20 seats that'll be amazing but nothing to shout about. And on top of that, there will be dozens of borderline seats with 1-3% winners that will be pressured on all the tough votes. No this struggle will continue well path Nov.2, but at least we'll be on the right track!!!

and i'll be leaving the country, almost certainly, whether kerry wins or not. i'll still be voting, and i'll be going to new york to protest the shameless republican motherfuckers who think they're going to capitalize on 9-11. i will still, however, be leaving. the stupid assholes who voted for george bush in the first place will never go away, and they will never cease being stupid assholes, even if some of them vote for kerry this time around.
there is something seriously wrong with this country. seriously wrong. kerry and edwards and the whole convention are inspiring, in their own way, but not inspiring enough. i'm not alone. i am, however, in a permanent minority.
there are places in this world which were never fooled by this spoiled, corrupt fool and the entire entourage of assholes, the abusive, posturing, snarling and sneering pieces of shit who call themselves "republicans." if all goes well... i'll be going to one of those places, and i'll never move back.
