My cats are politicians

They have been having a convention and they now rule our home.

The female oldest one, Tiff, is an Independant. She could care less if we care for her or not. She exudes ambivilance no matter what we feed her. We let her think she has control over us, it helps her self esteem. Makes us feel better too.

The next, Patch, all male. He is a hawk. There is not a bird or rodent safe when he wanders from the house to the barns. He too, is independent. But he sucks up to his handlers unmecilessly. We call him the Republican. He works hard to stay a cat without claws.

The last, a stray, hungry, almost dies twice from pheumonia. A female tiger, she now has complete control over the other two. How? She mans the food dish with total domination. Altho' she is much smaller than the other two, she chased the neighbors German Shephard out of the yard. Claims the living room couch for herself each evening. Totally in love with us, the other cats hiss treason at her. They refuse to play with her. She is a good Democrat through and through.

Last night one of my cats changed the channel from the DNC. This worries me.
