1. Lost count at 3
and now my mom is being looked to as the "wise politico" at her business school. I should get a half vote count for each one she gets, as she uses my info.

4. I converted 3 people to Kerry and...
neighbors. Most repigs around me say things are not going well in America with bush. Non say they will vote Kerry, and are dreaming the economy and senior health care will get better by Nov 2. I told them that if the boat is doing down Niagra Falls, someone has to jump in to stop it before it hits bottom.

5. How do you do it?
I mean politics is not the topic to discuss at social gatherings, family dinner tables, etc.

People either want to talk about because they are so forceful in their views, or don't give a crap and don't wanna be bothered.

I have to admit, my mom has turned around but that is because she divorced my pro republican step dad.

7. You do it by NOT following that rule.
I talk about politics wherever I am... and I invite others to talk about politics by wearing my Kerry button everywhere I go (and at work). Not a time for politeness.

6. At least one
probably more and am working on even more. It's funny, but it seems to be getting easier. I think no matter what party people are with, they realize now that we have a "moran" in charge and it frightens them.

8. I think one.
I think I got my aunt to vote for him.

Michael got a couple at work. One needed to registar to vote and the other saw F9/11 and WON'T vote for Bush.

10. Both of my officemates are voting for Kerry!
...Swing-state Wisconsin checking in!

A is a born-again Christian, registered Republican, who -- get this -- thinks Bush is being disingenuous about his "respect for all life." He's disgusted with the war and the death penalty support and the "support them until they're born and then forget about them" policies. He voted Bush last time.

D, my assistant editor, is your quintessential young male apathetic swing voter (he votes, but thinks the whole process is BS). He voted Bush last time, too, mostly because he didn't like Gore (or Bush) and thought Bush was more down-to-earth. However, he's voting Kerry this time, not because he likes Kerry, but because he really, really likes John Edwards.

Hey, whatever works, right?
