hangin in there, still unemployed :(. I am finally getting some response. A couple of jobs in DC, but I had a promising phone interview for an IMAC contract with... Sempra Energy. YUCK! I'll probably take it if an offer is made, but jeeze.

things here are ok.. I survived the last round of layoffs here... 350 got it this time :-( Otherwise, things are ok.

6. yeah, dc is cool..

I lived there for a few months while working on a WAN project, and really liked it. I have a good friend who moved out there suggest that I look for a position. I sent out some resumes, just to see if I would get a response, and sure enough I did. I have a brother who lives in Fredricksburg as well, and it would be nice to be near him too.

Seems like down here, unless you have an existing security clearance, or are willing to work for 25K (sun tax), your choices are somewhat limited. If I score this Sempra gig, I'm still going to try and line up some interviews in DC/VA.

Glad to hear you didn't get caught up in the latest round of layoffs. I was thinking about you the other day. I was reading a piece on one of my favorite developers, Papyrus, and their relationship with Vivendi.
