7. One of the RW meme coming out right now

is that Ridge was a VERY EFFECTIVE first Sec of Homeland Security
because we haven't been attacked since 9/11.

Ok, but IF they had stopped any terra attacks (like the millennium
plot), don't you think it would be splattered 24/7 all over the
cable?

I mean, we had the shoe bomber (who was stopped by alert passengers).
we had the dirty bomber... uh, except that there really isn't any
evidence against him (and this was before Ridge anyway).

We had the Buffalo conspiracy... except, again, no real evidence
and no charges filed??? (I don't remember). Detained anyway or
exported under immigration law?

And the anthrax attacks... yeah, they solved that one right away.

Am I missing anything? Were there other major terrorist cells
arrested here with bombs and shit or even plans?

We hear these constant warnings... be careful around shopping
malls, there may be an attack at the convention (or superbowel
or Olympics or whatever)... nothing specific, nobody ever
arrested, no bombs or guns or plans...

so, really, do you think they thwarted all these attacks and Ridge
is doing such a wonderful job?
