Wondered what would be the hardest to watch
a humane society "supporterathon," that at the end showed a kitten or puppy dying from something like "kitty 'flu" or canine parvovirus infection or one of those international aid group "child sponsorathons," where they appeal for sponsors for kids in wretchedly poor 3rd world countries?

As for the Amnesty International "memberathons," don't get me started on those.

2. That's if you accidentally od'd on something and *really* need to
:puke:.

Maybe the "stuffola" that will be on TV on a certain Saturday in September will be really worse to watch.

3. Hardest to watch?
Hmmm. My vote would go to the Republican Party Fuckathon, featuring the likes of Ann Coulter and Peggy Noonan pulling the GOP train. That would make the others suggested bearable in comparison. We can all be thankful such a thing doesn't exist, although the way politics and entertainment are going in this country I expect something like it will be part of the electoral festivities by the end of the century.

4. What about the commemorative tributes to a certain terrorist attack we'll
Edited on Sat Jul-31-04 12:55 AM by Valerie5555
likely be subjected to EVERY SEPTEMBER 11TH???????????????????????????????

On edit or Sappy September 11 "commemorateathons," to make sure we will NEVER forget that day, as if we could.

5. Yet another reason I'm glad I gave up television years ago...
and the September eleventh commemorations will start to taper off within a decade or so, most likely...

6. Wonder if you pitied anyone with a birthday on that day especially before
the darned "commemorateathons" started to taper off.
