I've been working late and doing other stuff in the evening all week, and missed all the convention coverage. I haven't read the speeches yet. Can someone tell me the hamster story?

in '68, Kerry was heading up the Mekong Delta on a swiftboat when a VC hamster opened fire on his patrol.

He bit the little fuckers head off.

On the right hand side there is a link to CBS' coverage of the convention. Scroll down until you see "Unlucky Hamster."

There you can watch video of Kerry's lovely daughter telling the story herself. It was great!
