Berkeley just totally rules
Not to be outdone by the city of webbed feet, Berkeley, CA is an awesome city! Ahhh....to go down Shattuck to Triple Rock, have a few pints of Tree Frog, then to Dona Tomas for some kickass Mexican food...then on to Jupiters for some music and more ales...or perhaps to Gilman street for some raw punk...

1. I love Berkeley too
But ah, to be in Seattle on a clear warm summer day like today - nothing better. :)

3. But does Seattle have the Gilman Street Club?
the only free punk club that I know of? (in all honesty it's just a shack :) )

6. Did you ever see Green Day or
any of the other Gilman bands play in its heyday?

BTW....is the Fox still in Seattle?

7. Yes, I saw Green Day once down there
God, I even saw Greg Kihn at an all-ages show in Berkeley in the early '80s. LOL Now talk about old school! That wasn't on Gilman Street, obviously. :)

What's the Fox in Seattle? I'm not familiar...

8. Maybe I'm confusing Portland and Seattle
It was a really cool old movie theater that had show - it was in Pioneer square..
