they look like baby swords - all orange

5. you need to separate them out

they won't last long, they'll become lunch for some of your other fish.

We had a little plastic thing you could put on the inside of your tank where we put the babies. After they got a little bit bigger and could fend for themselves would we put them back in with the rest of the fish.

8. Before I knew better

a FEW years ago I called a friend in panic ,saying there was some kind of parasite in my fish tank

A catfish (bottomfeeder, tank cleaner) had laid eggs all over the side of my tank . I sold those li'l ole kitty fishes back to the pet store and got lots of freebies

she laid eggs about three or four times before I found her lying belly up !!!!

she was a good fishie
