:eyes:
I thought they had a new found conscious and provided better health care, stopped the piss tests, the ridiculous "personality profiles" and gave a $1 raise to their employees.
Maybe next year.

5. Walmart in this area started putting Christmas up early when school began |
|
to start earlier every year. It used to be that school supplies went up in July and stayed through the first week of September. But these days, the school year ends in May and begins the second week of August.
So now big chains and local markets put up school supplies beginning in June (right beside the summer beach stuff) and Christmas starts going up at the end of August...
Hey, they've got to fill those promotional aisles somehow! :hi:

6. The earlier they put the stuff out, |
|
the less likely I am to buy any of it. When I first see the stuff it's three months too early, and then by the time I might possibly buy, I'm tired of looking at it.
Last year I didn't bother to put up a tree or decorate, although we exchanged gifts. I'm not yet ready to yard sell or give away all my Christmas stuff, but this Christmas may again be treeles in our household.
