1. Um, they all kinda sound the same to me.... |
|
Yes, I understand that we needed the early pioneers of rock-n-roll to get us to where we are today and all that, but IMO they took a couple of basic song structures and ran them totally into the ground.

7. Then why don't you simply keep out of this thread and... |
|
...let those of us who enjoy Little Richard have some fun?
First that guy in the Beach Boys thread, and now this dude. I swear, some people...!

2. A lot of his sound very much the same to me, too, but it's still at least |
|
a good sound.
I chose "Lucille." Always loved that one. For some of the others, I tend to favor covers by Elvis and Paul McCartney (with the Beatles), though that may be because I knew those versions first.
Little Richard is and was a trip, dude!

3. A Wop Bop A Loo Bop A Wop Bam Boom. |
|
Tutti Frutti oh rooti whooooooooo
Long Tall Sally's great too, but I actually prefer the Beatles' cover on that one, proving that McCartney was able to pull off what both Elvis and Pat Boone had failed miserably at.
