I worked ten hours today...

Again they had me training a new cashier. Either they're seriously understaffed or I just rock THAT MUCH--you decide. This time, the new cashier was someone who'd worked there before and was only unfamiliar with a few things, so it was way easier.

Right now I'm throwing a pity party for myself because my ex-husband has met someone (I guess I'm easy to replace) and it feels like everyone in the world has someone except me.

Alien Girl, I'm sorry you've had such a long day (hope they were paying you double time). Re your ex, he doesn't sound too discerning, and might just be trying to distract himself from thinking about you.

You've made some amazingly strong choices this past year. I admire you for that. This low feeling curve--this too shall pass. Feel the feelings deeply, then go forward. You know the process.
