Need suggestiions on a bar mitzvah gift....
The son of a couple of friends is having his bar mitzvah soon and I need to know what to get a 13 year old kid....some background...

This kid has anything a kid could want and what he doesn't have his parents could afford it whenever he decides he wants something. He is extremely indulged and lacks for no material thing.

This is where my quandry comes in...I don't have a lot of money and I don't know what to get him that he does not already have. He has an X Box as well as a Play Station but I am not sure his parents allow him to play *any* video game so if I were to get a video game I don't know what to get. I think they prefer that he play G rated games.

Thanks in advance for your help!

1. My favorite Bar Mitzvah gift...
... was a pocket knife. Basically a swiss army knife, except it was blue and had a Star of David on it. Seems to have gone missing now, though :(

2. I KNOW they would not want me to get
their son a pocket knife...he is ADD so that would NOT be a good combo.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

He is REALLY into being Jewish so I could go along that route....

3. I was never diagnosed...
... but I exhibited all the symptoms of ADD, too.

That said, I can imagine that some overprotective, sheltering parents might object. Shame. It was quite a useful tool to me.
