Poll question: Favorite song by the Platters?

They were the #1 selling vocal group of rock 'n' roll's first half-decade. They were also the genre's first act to appeal both to the kids and to their parents. Now, let's see which of the Platters' classic hits is the favorite on DU!

6. Can't argue with that!

Hell, my list only scratches the surface of all the hits the Platters had in the '50s and early '60s!

Great lyrics, amazing vocal arrangement.

8. "Great Pretender" over "Only You," but barely, with
"Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" right behind. Tough call! Beautiful harmonies.

9. Only You
It was a difficult choice, but Only You is one of my very favorite songs. Classic.
