This guy just broke one of God Law's. Seems to me, I recall that you're not supposed to worship idols, golden calves, or make any graven image that steals the Almighty's thunder.

It is really amazing how people have totally lost all perspective in this country. Does no one have any frame of reference any more? Taking out those stone statues in no way diminishes the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus or Jimmy Carter. People can carry little pocket cards of the ten commandments if they can't remember them. And nobody, NOBODY, can stop you from praying when you really want to.

I swear, sometimes I think the Taliban could exist here in our own country, only in the guise of fundamentalist Christianity. I would hope that more moderate believers would calm these others down, but it sure doesn't seem to be happening.

Has our little melting pot rusted away?
