55. I certainly can identify with that
Junior year, CG #315. Watching my roommate string beads. Cheese strata. I was on ``tins'' for dummy. Algebra II. Miss Johnson who still wore stockings with seams down the back. I kid you not. I always wondered where in the world she found them! Math was not my strong suit and, to make matters worse, I had an allergic reaction to the penicillin the incompetent doctor there was giving me for tonsillitis. It was very bad because he first diagnosed it as measles and kept me on the penicillin, against the advice of his nurse. I spent exam week in the Betsy Moody Infirmary, covered with a horrible, itchy rash. Memories...:-)

Did you read that article in the NY Times today that was posted in GD. I'm so glad my kid is a guy, all he needs is a pair of jeans, a tee shirt, hooded sweat shirt and he's good to go.

I love the Profile feature. I didn't know about it for a long time, so I kept trying to keep my profile under 1200 characters. I finally got around to updating mine. Trying to get where I fill up all the slots with quality material.

48. LOL!
Most Math I never plan to use again. The SAT pretty much tests algebra, geometry, and very basic trig. I took Calculus my Senior year. What a monumental waste of time.

I've gotten by with very minimal math in college. I took the CLEP and got out of College Algebra. Last semester I took Math for Liberal Arts, which is basically Math without a lot of numbers. An emphasis is put more on mathematical theories.

I was always better than most at Math, but still hated it. I'm more of an English person.

English/History/Arts kind of person here. :)

I'm not bad at math (I got a 94 on my math A regents, which is the algebra and geometry state test required for graduation) but it takes me a lot more to do well in the class than English or any other class.

54. Don't feel bad
I'm in college and was feeling the same way whenever I had to start back a week ago. I don't think most people ever feel like going back, but I guess we should smile 'cause these are supposed to be the best years of our lives, right? :-) I dunno...

BTW, I love the lyrics in your sig line! I once, just 'cause I'm a nerd, broke down and analyzed the lyrics to the song- "Flat Top" and determined that it was a protest song about the Republican takeover of Congress in '95! Actually, I was probably totally off, but I did know that John Rzeznik was a Democrat and felt like making the Goo Goo Dolls be political! haha
