What's your favorite Young Ones episode?
My favorite episode was when The Young Ones went to the Laundrymat. I loved the part where there clothes were so filthy that they walked to the laundry on their own. I also loved it when the washer puked and spat the clothes back out when they put them in.

Another episode that I loved was with the Poltergeist and the punk rock girl. I also loved the episode with the Guy who looked like Ronnie James Dio that was playing Steve Hillage records.

Damn I could go on and on I miss the Young One's.

4. Sick
but they're all fantastic!

They have a DVD out with all the episodes, plus some hilarious extras (Rik Mayall pre-Young Ones doing his poem Theater-"And they say,"Why don't you ask Vanessa Redgrave?",but I don't know Vanessa Redgrave...and neither do you THEATER!"),two episodes of another show with Rik Mayall,Adrien Edmondson and Nigel Planer and some behind the scenes stuff. It's about 45 bucks and totally worth it.You'll see just how much MTV cut out of some episodes for one :)

8. World's silliest bottom burp?
I think that the University Challenge episode is the best, but maybe you have to know the original series to appreciate it.

For other Mayall / Edmundson humour, check out "Mr Jolly Lives Next Door" (TV movie) or the BBC2 series Bottom.

I had the intense pleasure of watching Rik Mayall do his live show about 14 years ago. It was very funny indeed.
