Does anyone read The Big Takeover?

Jack Rabid uses entirely too many exclamation points in his reviews, but these things are thick as fuck, and easily worth the five bucks per issue. I had given up hope entirely on finding a decent American rock mag and given in to the fact that I'd have to buy Mojo and Uncut every month for eight bucks a pop.

Rabid's reviews are a bit too fanboy for me, but his interviews are fucking great to read.

1. Yeah I have a couple issues

The Big Takeover has done a couple of interviews with Social Distortion front man Mike Ness over the years and they have been the best interviews with him I have ever read. Too bad it only comes out a few times a year.

2. Boy he's been around for ages

I saw Springhouse play once. They threw in the towel after their gear got ripped off from their van. Tough break, but Rabid's multi-page whining about it didn't get it back.
