Feral cat story, mildly amusing |
|
Okay, we have been feeding these mopes for a couple of months now. They will now come on the porch and a couple of them will let us pet them....fine. The spay hook awaits them.
One got into the house today looking for food.I heard her screaming in the dining room and tried to net her to get her out. The combination of her speed and my lack of speed led to hilarous results.
She bounded past me into the kitchen, in the air... I am not kidding, at least 14 feet horizontally and 7 verticaly, hit the pots and pans shelf, turned and went back over my head and out the kitchen door (another 10-12 horizontal feet) to the nether reaches of the brush in the back yard.
Her new name is JetLi Cat.

and I find it more than mildly amusing! I'll bet that cat stays a little farther away for a while at least. Love the name, how perfect. You are good to care for them, they will be life long friends.
