getting worm-spawned e-mails at my Yahoo address...
Been happening since Friday. Half a dozen or so at a time. Mostly, they're from addresses I don't recognize at all, though a couple seem generated from commercial websites I've visited once or twice.

I've blocked addresses that have sent repeat worm attachments. Since most seem to be in the 99k range, if I could just block any incoming e-mail that was over 70k, for awhile, that might help the "clog."

Also, this isn't happening with my other two e-addresses, just the Yahoo.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions? Thanks, all...

1. Not yet, thank goodness...
I've had a hard enough time with the 500 SO BIG virus messages.

2. Mine too
Over the weekend, I must have gotten it 50 times. But I have no suggestions for you, unfortunately.

3. well, "we are not alone!"
Though I guess that's scant comfort during an online "viral outbreak!"

4. Eudora has a feature that allows you
to skip messages over 40K. I have been making liberal use of this feature lately.

What really pisses me off are all the "returned mail" messages I get because the virus is propagating itself under my email address. Grrrr.

(Incidentally, if that happens to you, it doesn't mean you have the virus; it just means the virus stole your address out of someone's address book.)

C ya,

5. I've had a couple "returns"...
...but not from addresses in my address book...That explains it, though -- my addy was "pilfered" from someone else...

As for "K-blocking," the main problem is with my Yahoo account -- and I haven't found any way to block large incoming e-mails with their software...

14. Whew!
I wondered why I was getting all those "returned message" notes, when three different virus scans said my system was clean. Thanks!

6. I have 3 yahoo accounts. 2 had no problems. The third I
had to clean out almost every 3 hours from keeping it from going over limit. That was last week when everyone was having trouble. Better my Yahoo account than on my PC!

8. not sure what is happening with my yahoo mail
Been getting a few "returned undeliverable" mails sent FROM my account to people I don't know. Guess I've been hijacked.

10. I've been having problems with Yahoo.
Over the past week I've gotten a number of emails that I think may be viruses.I haven't bothered reading them. I just deleted them all.

Also, for about a week my inbox has always said I have one extra new mail in my inbox. Even when I check and or delete all of my new mail it still says I have one .
