So far, any troopers who have pulled me over have been jello. No tickets ever. I can make the tears well up and everything. It's excellent. You just need a pair of breasts and know how to cry and you'll be set next time.

Your last sentence is so true... men turn to jello when confronted by a pair of breasts & a pair of teary eyes. Just about every woman I know of has gotten out of tickets in the past.
And they wonder why men's insurance is higher!

5. Well, damn... I wish I'd thought of that when I got a $275 fine 10 years |

ago speeding through Connecticut on my way to NY.
(I did cry the very first time I was pulled over, when I was 16... and you're right... I got out of it.)
Seriously though... it's not the crying ability that makes our rates lower... it's our superior intellect

OK, I'll admit it - the male intellect is more, um, easily distracted.

15. I think there's too much driving macho bullshit. |
|

Too many men (not all of course, but many, I know firsthand too) seem to use the road to act the part of the Alpha Male to perhaps overcome whatever shortcomings they might have. Therefore, more accidents and higher insurance.
Actually, I can't cry that easily, but I can kind of my bottom lip start to quiver like I'm going to. I think externals do play a role to an large extent. I know at times in my life when I didn't look so good, many men seemed more than willing to let a door shut right in my face.

But, I also think that for insurance purposes, a lot of married couples claim that they split the driving 50-50. However, in actuality, the man (no matter how liberal the family) seems to end up doing most of the actual driving and, subsequently, getting into more accidents.
My ex-wife was originally from south Jersey and a pretty strong willed liberal Democrat. However, if we went anywhere together, I'd end up doing the driving... even on those long drives to the Atlantic City area.
My wife now is a hard driving Bush-hating career woman, iron-willed & independent (she moved across the world by herself with no family in the US)... yet, I also do all the driving with her when we go out together.
I know it is similar for other married couples as well.
