Screw the RIAA thread #1
Ok, this is the first in a series of posts which recommend a single song. I will focus on songs *most* of you have never heard, because they are good and since 1975 or so, good songs do not get airplay :)

The idea is that this song should be available on Kazaa, WinMX or other file sharing systems. If you like it, you might like other songs from the same artist. If you really like it, buy their CDs, they've earned their pay!

Today's artist / song:

Stereolab / Ping Pong

This is a great mid 90s noise pop tune with an upbeat sound and lyrics about war and the economy.

Go download it now!!!

1. Kazaa lite is great
has an ISP address blocker, no spyware, and doesn't allow anyone (presumably) to view files you're sharing.
I recommend "Crests of Waves" By Coldplay. This song is rare and hasn't been on any of their big CDs; however, it is a great song.

2. I've stopped
sharing RIAA member music. Additionally, I was part of the boycott looooonnnnng before there was a boycott; I've not bought a single CD in ten years.

Now that the indies are getting more exposure (largely due to the RIAA's legally correct but horribly misguided efforts), I may begin doing so again. But I'll never buy any RIAA-member music again.
