pennant races coming down to the wire
just under a month left and as usual there are some sweet races going on in baseball land. My cardinals still have a shot and the way they are playing I think are going to do it. ATlanta and the Yankees look to be a lock ( sorry bostonites, methinks you need to go to another divsion) as usual. IS San Fran and Arizona still close and does anyone here even care? What about them White sox? can they hold off the surprising Royals?

1. Royals, my ass.
Can the White Sox hold off the surprising Twins?

And don't write off the Bosox yet.

2. How about the 9th inning for the Twinns
yesterday? In the park homer, broken wrist for the catcher, baseball as a full contact sport.

10. Playing hard for the wild card slot.
That is an interesting race. Many deserving teams. I am a Braves fan, but they just got swept by the Mets!
