1. I don't know if I'm lucky .... |
|
but I would say that even in the worst situation, I seem to somehow make in.
As I told someone, "It's not that I lose, it's just that I don't seem to win".

4. Extremely, but not when it comes to winning things. |

I'm lucky in other areas of my life. :-)
I have won $250 on a scratch-off game, and I do OK at the horse track sometimes, but my true luck lies elsewhere. Family, friends, job, home, etc...

5. I found $500 on a run one morning |
|
In an envelope laying in the road. It had been run over several times and it looked like a napkin. For some reason I picked it up, saw green, and pocketed it to count later.
See excercise does pay.

It was the 35th anniversary of Disneyland. My daughter was 5 at the time (second story I've told today involving my daughter) and she had the winning ticket. Won a Geo Tracker, which was a lot of fun, and the only thing I got from the divorce besides a lot of debt.

I've never been lucky at lotteries, etc, but if I'm shooting pool, and there's a $20 involved, chances are it'll end up in my wallet.
I've also had luck bouncing around in the workforce.

10. I nailed a trifecta once |
|
I put a box on a $2 trifecta bet (which means you pay $6 and the 3 horses can come in any order).
Last race of the day. I turned $6 into $80 (I was down $40 up until that point).
If I had not put a box on it (straight up) that $80 would have been $2000.
This all happened around 1982-3 so the amounts mentioned were significant.
Cheers Drifter
My mother was at one point a professional contest winner. She entered hundereds of contests each month. She won alot of things ranging from a 2 week vacation to Hawaii, a cheap stereo (which I gladly used in college), to a ham.

12. I won $400 on a scratch ticket once |

but other than that, I don't win anything.
However, I do still consider myself to be a very lucky person. I'm lucky to have a lot of wonderful people in my life.
