Burn him ! La Noche de Zozobra
OK, it's time for that peculiar New Mexican ritual tonight: the burning of Zozobra (Old Man Gloom) to mark the start of Fiesta de Santa Fe.

The music starts about 4 just of the Plaza in Fort Marcy Park at 4 PM. The 4-story high effigy of Zozobra (stuffed with slips of paper on which locals have written out their troubles) will be torched into a towering bonfire just after 8.

Guess I better get my hat and shoes and get headed out the door. Burn him !
