Poll question: Favorite song by DIONNE WARWICK?

I stopped at 1970 because I can't think of a damned thing Ms. Warwick has recorded since then that I can stomach. But if you disagree, you're free to use "other" to vote for something she did later in her career.

2. Didn't she do one
called something like Trains and Boats and Planes? At least those were the first words. Damn, I usually don't foget lyrics but I just can't come up with the words. Beautiful tune.

Burt Bacharach - Trains And Boats And Planes
==============================================

Trains and boats and planes are passing by.
They mean a trip to Paris or Rome
To someone else but not for me.
The trains and boats and planes
Took you away, away from me.

We were so in love, and high above
We had a star to wish upon. Wish
And dreams come true, but not for me
The trains and boats and planes
Took you away, away from me.

You are from another part of the world,
You had to go back a while and then
You said you soon would return again.
I'm waiting here like I promised to.
I'm waiting here but where are you?

Trains and boats and planes took you a way,
But ev'ry time I see them I pray
And if my prayers can cross the sea,
The trains and the boats and planes
Will bring you back, back home to me.

3. Night Train's on a roll again......
Dionne Warwick teaming up with Burt B. on so many great songs back in the sixties. It's really hard to choose just so I just Said a Little Prayer. Now on to the next poll.

5. We trust your judgment, KnightTrainMan --- and thanks.
"Say A Little Prayer"

Is "This Girl" the tune that Herb Alpert did, also (as "This Guy")?
If so, that was fine music.

One depressing ass song, but I like it.

Gotta get off gonna get hafta get off of this ride
Gotta get hold gonna get need to get hold of my pride
When did i get where did i how was i caught in this game
When will i know where will i how will i think of my name

When did i start feeling sure feeling safe
And start wondering why
Is this a dream am i here where are you what's in back of the sky
Why do we cry

Gotta get off gonna get outta this merry-go-round
Gotta get on gonna get need to get on where i'm bound
When did i get where did i why am i lost as a lamb
When will i know where will i how will i learn who i am

Is this a dream am i here where are you
Tell me when will i know how will i know when will i know why
