I think we were invaded by a freeper at our Dean meetup last night.
One of our group likes to go trolling for women at these meetups, and he invited a woman/girl(young) along with us for coffee afterward. We were getting into a pretty heated discussion, and she breaks out with," This is what scares me about liberals, even though I am neither" (or something close to that) What? It's scary to be passionate about one's quality of life, or lack thereof????

As the coffee kept pouring these were a few other "gems".

That just sounds like so much rhetoric. (in response to Bush's selection/versus election.

You know, you don't help your cause by being so disrespectful. In response to a "One Term President" poster a friend of mine had created and our discussion of names like Chimpy McCokespoon.

I hate it when "they" say it's all about the children.

If people don't know how to use a computer then they are too stupid to be allowed to vote. In response to a rant against touch screen voting.

And the whopper...to me...she wants to move out of her once fashionably chic neighborhood because people are obnoxious parking their junky cars in front of her house.

At the end of two hours we all got the feeling she was going to run back to some group and mention how she spent 2 hours with a group of crazy people.

Her opening line was" I don't know, I just feel like I've been lied to"
Sigh.

4. Maybe the freeper's are tired of her too
I would be. Sounds like a really unhappy childhood.

5. "This is what scares me about liberals, even though I am neither"
But it sounds like she already had her mind made up before that. She makes some pretty insensitive comments too - I like the one about who should be entitled to vote. :eyes: Sure sounds like a freeper attitude to me.
