Oh, we just had a little earthquake in SF!
Not real big, but enough to make my heart jump into my throat. Whew, those are always scary.

3. I always wonder where the epicenter is.

I was here for the big one and my first thought when it was over was OMG is LA flattened?

On edit: 3.9 epicenter Berkeley. I was close!

Funny how that 'sense memory' kicks in at times like this, huh? Hope that's all for now!

10. Then we are thankful we had a little warning quake!
I've actually never experience a pre-quake (prior to a major temblor) myself. Lotsa aftershocks of course and that's a totally different thing. Not fun.

14. you're welcome - but i'll keep my storms, lol
I went through 3 quakes (not big, but damn noticeable!) in Seattle before moving back to MT in 1997. Apparently I slept through an earthquake in Southern CA when I was an infant in the early 70s.

I love a good storm, especially with hail...

15. Shelter in place
for people living near the Chevron Oil Refinery.

May not have anything to do with the earthquake but people who live near the refinery should stay indoors with their doors and windows closed.
