Exactly. It's hard to describe how these things are fun. East Coasters, it's kind of like a good thunder storm. No danger, a bit of drama.

A few CD's moved from their racks. Everything OK. Oaktown's fine. The thing might was probably just a few miles from my house.

Hi Leftcoast! I don't know about you but I got a real 'bump' from that 4.1 -- I'm down at Market and Guerrero right now. Whew, just imagine that lasting for 13 - 15 seconds and you'll know the terror that was '89.
Best wishes! :hi:

Now that was a Quake!
I was working at Battery and Jackson at Bank of California. Our data center was there and we had a guy training from Seattle. The quake hit, I jumped under a table and we had these big check sorting machines that were rocking and rolling. After the shaking stopped I went over to my now shaken co-worker and he said .... "was that a....?" I replyed, "Oh yeah baby and it was a biggie!"

He's ok.........it knocked the phone off of the hook and rumbled his shelves a tad. He wanted to know how I knew so fast.......and....and I had to tell him about my email alert system. He laughed and said I was a good mom. I told him to sleep under the mattress with his bicycle helmet on. Sigh....only half kidding!
