I'm not a big fan of surf music, but if i put The Ventures into the perspective of the times, i would have to surmise they were pretty cool. Geez, had i been in my late teens in the early 60's, i might have been a big fan. The Professor

Hell, when the Ventures recorded "Walk--Don't Run" in late '59, even Dick Dale hadn't started recording surf music!
