The Oxford Girl...anthemic Brit Folk Rock
...a beer or two and a good folky tune....thats the nuts for a Friday night.

This tune is by the Oyster Band....sort of a feminist take on the genre....

1. I remember the Oyster Band doing a great version of New Order's...
"Love Vigilantes" I'll have to look for "The Oxford Girl"

2. heard the song and the oyster band many times before...
(coz i got WMNF-FM 88.5 www.wmnf.org in my town! :) ) was curious tho, is it about a real incident or an analogy?
