Me and the Cockateil.......A whimsical tale....

Went to the pet store to see all the beautiful animals. :) Petted all the fluffy little bunnies, scrapped around with some little black kittens (demonic little one, flailing at me with both paws through the cage, had this glazed little look on her face. hehehe)

Went over to the birds too, struck up a friendship with this wacky little cockateil. Of all the birds, he just loved to be picked up again and again. Had an adventurous spirit, too, sometimes went on top of the other birds' cages to get a good look around. ;) Didn't want to be cooped up, gotta respect that.

He loved to crawl up my arms and walk on my back. Took a little pee there too. He must have really liked my hair because he was crawling about in there. Attempts to walk onto my head using my ear as a ladder were unsuccessful. Really liked to chew my purse strap. So did the parrot. Crazy bird. :)

Was a little sad leaving the store. :( Miss my little buddy....

1. I'm owned by one
BUSTER, named for Buster Keaton, because he's so droll and acrobatic.

We also have five cats, and Buster rules the roost, for sure. He is the Alpha Animal here. Of course, if he weren't, he'd be lunch, but it's so funny to see the cats be so terrified of him when he flies around.

He likes to say "cookie" over and over (and over and over and over...) again.

2. If I'd been in your shoes
That cockatiel'd be at my house right now.:D Along with a bunny, the kittens, & any other animals that happened to be adorable at the time. That's part of the reason I never go to stores that sell animals.
