Any regrets?
Edited on Mon Sep-13-04 07:46 AM by undisclosedlocation
A few of mine:
On second thought, that penis reduction operation probably wasn't the swiftest move.
My threads might get more attention if I'd chosen the username poopypooppoop.
I don't care how many beers I won in that bar bet, the frontal lobotomy was a mistake.

Yours? (Feel free to play it straight if you want.:))

1. Spending WAY too much time in the baths when I moved to Chicago.
I was a GIGANTIC slut when I first moved to the Windy City. :-)

6. No regrets
Only lessons learned. Everything that has happened has made me the person I am, and I rather like her, and led me to the love of my life.

A few years earlier, I might have said, yes, but for the first time in my life, I am truly happy and content, knowing whatever happens, I will survive. It's a good place and all events have led me here.

8. That's a good place to be.
Sometimes I feel glimpses of that. I'm a very strong person and have been through a lot and feeling like I'm coming out even stronger, but at the same time, the current muck I'm going through makes it hard. I know I'll be there soon, but sometimes the process of getting to that point can be a tough road. I'm sure you understand. Right now, I have to have some walls up in the name of self-preservation. Hopefully, they won't have to be up forever.

To inner peace: :toast:

12. I'm not even going to go into
some of the hell I've been through in my life, but suffice to say, there were times when I did not think I would be able to survive, much less get through it in one piece.

You're a survivor, too, and you'll make it. Just hang in there. You know what you need to do and you just need to steel yourself and do it.

I'm a few years older than you. I didn't even start to feel comfortable in my own skin until my late 30s.
