2. I read the book in school...

I have a copy of it by my bookstand. I read it over after my epiphany about what it really going on and if you read it (and see) the movie, you'll see many familiarity between Oceania and the Bush regime.

Of course, the Bush regime is really just Nazi-lite.

We need to open the eyes of our fellow citizens. Many people (like me and others) are waking up but we have to work with our friends to acheive the critical mass by 11/04.

6. There's this site called bookcrossing...

...I don't know if it's still up, but the idea, I think, is that when you're done with a book you leave it somewhere and post on there where you left it and people try to find the books and others just stumble upon them (I think you're supposed to put a sticker with the URL of the site on them) and get into the game. Anyways during the early part of this year I kept thinking it would look all ominous if I kept putting copies of /1984/ all over Chicago over and over again. Maybe with a note inside that said if you think the book says some important things that you can go and do the same thing.

8. Brave new world revisited blows 1984 away

Not Brave new world (fiction) but the non-fiction Brave new world revisited wich is a sociological analysis prediction that has come true. I like 1984 better than BNW but revisited blows all them away.
