Squirrel kunudrum (how do you spell kunudrum?) |
|
There is a squrriel living in somekid of dugout outside of my bedroom window. HE CAN'T STAY THERE. He keeps waking me up and I'm worried he may get in the walls. I don't want to kill him, and I am worried about taking himout of hishome this close to winter....any ideas?

there are services that can trap and relocate squirrels and other pests. Look one up in your local yellow pages.

He/She will get the food. Squirrels are very, very good at foraging and finding bird feeders, etc....Don't worry....He/She will be relocated to a place where he will have no problems.

It may be a right-wing plot to keep surveillance on you. It is no coincidence that a squirrel has a Bushy tail and Nixonesque beady eyes. I would smile nicely at the squirrel and hold down the communist chatter until he leaves to investigate your neighbor. On the other hand, he may think you're just a nut.

11. Or you could buy your own trap |
|
Squirrel traps can be found at most hardware stores. Cheaper than pest control services. Bait the trap with an ear of dried corn which you can find at a pet supply or feed store. When/if you catch the critter, take it at least 8 miles away or it will return. Then set the trap again because squirrels are like the gop; where you see one, many are lurking about. Don't worry about squirrels starving at this time of year. As noted elsewhere in this thread, there is plenty of food around for them. :donut:

I just ordered a $50 sonic squirrel repeller. My truck sits dead in the driveway because squirrels have chewed the ignition wires FOR THE SECOND DAMN TIME THIS YEAR!

I'm a pacifist, a tree hugger, and a generally sweet, gentle person. With two exceptions: hackers-who-spread-viruses (may they rot in hell) and squirrels, which are really just rats in drag.

put ammonia in the offending area and the squirrel will think an enormous animal took a leak there and will get the hell out.
Unfortunately, the US will attack you for using chemical weapons.
