"Windows XP Professional" Question: |
|
Is there a way to set ALL subfolders and subfiles in a directory to display the same way?
What I mean to say is, in my "Music" folder, some of the files in some subfolders display in "thumbnail" mode, others in "Icons" mode, and still others in "details" mode.
I'd like to default them all to "details" mode--is there a way to do this without going into each folder and doing it by hand?

Open your main drive. Under tools click folder options. Under the new display click view. At the top there should be some options including a button that says apply to all folders. That would be the one you are looking for.

No way to, say have all the files in "C:music" display as "details" by the ones in "C:photos" display as "thumbnails"?
