Did any of the networks show any highlights of the NDSU/Montana game (HUUUGE upset by NDSU) this afternoon or evening?? I was wondering, cause after the game, I went out to celebrate my birthday, and didn't get a chance to catch the tube.
(In case you're wondering, D-1AA top-ranked Montana got beat at home by North Dakota State today 25-24 in an upset that no one expected to happen.)

This is our last year in Division 2. We're in a "1-AA exploratory year" this season, and because of that, this year we play two 1-AA teams. Montana is a member of the Big Sky Conference, and the best in 1-AA overall, and NDSU is proposing to get into the Big Sky. Well, with this win today, I hope to God that this was a REALLY good Exhibit A on why NDSU should be in the Big Sky.

I don't know much about I-AA or NDSU, but I do know that Montana is a I-AA powerhouse. Congrats!!!
BTW, I know a little something about your club hockey team up there. My alma mater has taken on your school at nationals a couple of times.

They're the hockey school, NDSU (the Bison) is the football school. We cheer for the Minnesota Gophers or the St. Cloud Huskies in hockey, due to our deep-seeded hatred for the Sioux.:-)

My school had a club team, not varsity.
1994, North Dakota State won Club nationals, beating Ohio University in group play along the way. (we finished 3rd)
1995- we won, beating Penn St in the finals. Tied NDSU in group play, but we won the group.
OU won in 96 and 97, but I was gone then.

The club/varsity destinction is one a lot of folks not totally into hockey just aren't familiar with.
