Nothing like another listless Dolphin performance filled with turnovers, penalties, and punts. The 'revamped' Dolphins have picked-up where they left off last year. Sucking. Fire Dave Wannstedt.

I just got back from the game. It is truly time for Dave Wannstedt to go. I will be disappointed if I wake up tomorrow morning and find that Wannstedt still has a job. Huizenga should fire his ass ASAP!

The team had no discipline today. Penalties galore. The defense couldn't come through when they needed to. This defense is better than last year's by far.

They really need to get rid of Mark Royals as well. The guy just can't punt anymore.

Well, hopefully we'll rebound next week in New York. I'd really hate to start 0-2.

4. I disagree about the D

I think they're slower than last year....

5. The defense

I'm just looking at the defensive talent. We've basically got the same defensive line. I think we upgrated at OLB by bringing in Seau to replace Rodgers. Sammy Knight is probably an improvement at SS over Arturo Freeman.

The defense didn't come up big today. Houston is more talented than I thought they were. Andre Johnson, Corey Bradford, and Jabar Gaffney are all speed receivers. I was bothered that we didn't sack Carr once. Remember last year he was sacked an NFL record 77 times. I really figured Jason Taylor would get at least 2.

I still have no clue why Jamar Fletcher is still playing significant downs. He's an awful cover CB.

The fans were pretty hard on the Dolphins. There were the normal Jay Fiedler bashers. I'm not a big Fiedler guy myself, but at this point he's all they've got. Until Griese recovers, Sage Rosenfels is the backup.

Things got kind of hostile in the stands. There were about 20 people all wearing Andre Johnson jerseys in one section. I figure that they were his friends and family. We had people yelling "Canes Suck!"

There's a lot of disappointment here. I listened to the postgame and a lot of people think the season's over. It looks like Wannstedt didn't have them prepared at all. He didn't work them hard in practice and kept them away from heavy hitting. It was shameful how underprepared they were. Just another reason to get rid of Wannstedt.
