Should another "Austin Powers" movie be made?

The first is kitschy fun.

But the other two to date? They seem kinda lame, dunno why.

The franchise is toast. :-(

1. Haven't seem all of the third one

I thought the second was pretty good though.

So i dunno. Ask me when I've seen Goldmember.

2. Funny, I thought the second one was the best

A lot of critics also liked the third one (I remember the Boston Globe saying it was the best in the series), but I thought the third one kinda sucked.
I think the franchise can recover and have a few more good movies..

IMHO of course.

I thought that they were too self-congratulatory in the 2nd one, and didn't put in enough effort to make it funny.

Part of me would like to see a fourth movie, but they've already went from having a plot to just a series of connected sight gags.

Having said that, I really like all 3 movies, but the scene in the third movie where Dr. Evil gets a globe dropped on his head and then gets hit in the junk with the model satillite had me in tears laughing.

You can only go so far with big comedy until it becomes stale. Take the Simpsons, for example. They might have to go a whole new direction in terms of their comedic style, IMO.
