I have a feeling it went a little like this...
Well, I knew that the pResident would be on most of the major channels, so I got as comforatble as possible and watched Far & Away instead. Chances are I didn't miss anything.

I have a feeling it went something like this...

"We are staying the course. Things are going well. The economy is looking up. Iraq now has freedom. Hussien is in hiding. Our troops are the best in the world. We have friends and allies all over the world who are just dying (shouldn't really use that phrase...) to help us. Jobs are good and there are a lot for those who want to work. We need more money for Iraq. My tax cuts are working."

Did I miss anything?

1. pretty much...
except for the fact that he did not even mention the economy. Instead he said he was about to ask Congress for $87 billion.
