Today, in Takoma Park MD, I heard a whistle...

My wife and I were crossing the road to go to the Folk festival there, and the traffic control officer had a whistle.

Each time she blew it I muttered something short and sharp under my breath - very softly, since our Daughter was with us.

The exchange sounded something like this:

{TWEEEET-TWEET} "ass."
{TWEET} "ass."
{TWEEEET-TWEET-TWEET} "ass."

Remember this the next time you hear a whistle.

And my part of the planning is where we stand there on moving day and yell, "Get out of Gore's house." I think I will also recommend we bring whistles and yell something else.

2. We were there today too...

When we left she was bitching at somebody who was dropping off a passenger at the corner "This ain't no loading zone!" The driver had pulled close to the curb so others could pass her...It wasn't as though she was in anybody's way.
