Philadelphia is not a state.
Virginia and Maryland and DC are all SOUTH of the Mason Dixon and are considered Southern States. Maryland and DC are certainly contested but Virginia ... 100% Southern.

not what is officially the south. To me it looks like a straight line north of NC, all the way to the west and ends after Arkansas. To me, it looks like a border between the north and the south.
Edit: lol I can't believe I made the mistake of Philadelphia when I meant Pennsylvania. When you said Philadelphia wasn't a state I being to think, wtf? Did they leave the union? Sorry, I am still tired as it is only 7 am.

the second one he threw up for grabs which could of been caught be anybody, the third one was clearly his fault. He didn't see the linebacker playing zone, he could have done alot better but 2 of those INT's weren't his fault. What do you think about Farve's 4 INT's, should he sit on the bench for the rest of the year?

47. It was a good game and could of gone either way |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-08-03 12:28 PM by VermontDem2004
He has 21 NFL 4th quarter comebacks, he has had a terrible offensive line, absolutely no running game his entire career. He scored the touchdown on 4th down to put his team up on Ohio State with 1 minute left, just the defense didn't do their job. Let me tell you about his three interceptions. #1, Clinton Portis was on the flat wide open, he threw it toward him but the lineman TIPPED IT toward the linebacker and he got the pick. #2, Jake Plummer threw it up in the air and Ashley Lelie could of caught it, but didn't thus interception, he threw it up for grabs and could of gone either way. #3, was his fault, he didn't pick up on the linebacker zone they were playing and threw a pick. He let the first 2 affect him mentally which he has a problem doing. I can't believe you took a cheap shot against him when you know he played good in that game, also I am not that biased and can admit David Boston for Ohio State played a great game. I followed his career since his sophmore year at Arizona State, I know what kind of player he is 100x more then you do. Brett Farve has been to two superbowls, several pro bowls, and won over a dozen playoff games. Is he just not that good because he threw 4 int's yesturday?

49. Farve is better than Plummer in my opinion |
|
Here's what will happen to the snake. After three seasons in Denver he is cut and is on the free agent market. He is tossed around the League as a backup until he is picked up by the Raiders as a backup. The starter is hurt and Snake is thrown into the starting line up. He leads the Raiders to the Playoffs and the Next season he wins the Super Bowl. Two years later he wins another Super Bowl and retires. That is how his career will be.

50. I agree Farve is better |
|
but you just trashed Plummer's entire career because of one interception he threw. If you really know who Plummer is and the type of athlete he is, he will be spending the rest of his career there unless there are Salary Cap difficulties. He is the perfect QB for Shannahan's system, also you have to remember this. In his first full season (2nd season, in his first season he didn't start till the 11th game), the team was not plagued by injuries, he only had a mediocre offense and defense and let the Cardinals to the playoffs and won in the first round. His third season he threw for 18 touchdowns and only 14 interceptions and barely missed the playoffs. Last year, his team started the season 4-2 without David Boston (you should know as an Ohio State fan the tremodous athlete Boston is), but the third string Reciever broke his ankle which lead to the entire team getting injuries. With 6 games left in the season, 12 starters were out for the season and 6 replacement starters were out for the season as well. Also, get this. He hasn't missed a game since the 11th game of the season of his rookie year so he has the phsyical toughness to last in this league. His problems, when in Arizona he was forced to make quick decisions which may make many mistakes whenever blitzed. Fumbling of the snap, he made this mistake alot in AZ and I hated him for it. Pluses, he has 21 forth quarter comebacks, which means he can deliver under pressure when the team needs him the most. Has great mobility and arm strength. I could spend all day talking about him, but he is going to be a great quarterback in this league years to come.

52. Ok, now that I look at it you didn't |
|
but I was referring to the post you made after my explanation of the Int's. Also with the Rose Bowl comment as well, you know he delivered under pressure and got that touchdown on a long 4th down. That loss still bugs me to this day, but he will spend the rest of his career in Denver unless Salary Cap issues arise.

starting from the north of NC and going west along the northern border of Tennesse and to the end of Arkansas looks a straight line. So I thought a nice straight line should be an indicator of the border of north and south. Same thing I did with Northwest, and Southwest. It sorta looks like a straight line from the border of northern California to east to the end of Colorado's northern border.
