Leather, cloth, anything. Even suede, though I have to be careful with those...

I miss the retro look and most of my current vests are worn out. :-( All I've got left are bright and bold ones that push the envelopes of casual business attire!

Thanks!

1. You might also look for a good seamstress.
Or learn to sew. Vests are not difficult to make. You can even buy retro fabric over the internet.

3. But I'm a male! </sarcasm> </sexist>
I can barely sew buttons. Anything requiring a steady touch is something I can't easily do. I can't even solder components onto or off of circuitboards well anymore. :-(

I could get a sewing machine... I actually did do reasonably well in home ec </gay male stereotype> How do I cut the fabric though? The sad part is, It's been 15 years since I did this sort of thing...

Retro fabric would be positively brill though! Or any vest the 6th Doctor wore...

Thanks for the idea, I will indeed look into it!

Lots of suits came with vests and people never wore them.. You might find some nifty ones for very little money :)

4. That was gonna be my suggestion...
Goodwill or re-sale shops.

Hmmm...I have a brown leather vest I don't wear...but it's like a 3XL. It's part of my "fat collection" I will never wear again.
