13. I'm gonna go to Trader Vic's this weekend
The Trader Vic's Zevon referred to is here in LA, at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Santa Monica Blvd. To honor Warren, I shall stop in to have a pina colada. Then I'll have a mai tai, the mai tai was invented at this bar.

16. Actually, there's a Trader Vic's in London, too.
The original was established in Oakland, CA in the thirties. You can read the timeline here.

15. Warren!
As you may know, I work in a public school but not in a classroom, I have my own little office (I do PR).
I made a poster and hung it on my door...photo of Warren, below it:
"I'll Sleep When I'm Dead."
Kids were asking me who he was. Bummer!
