2. That is just wrong.
I've known some people with fat cats. It's almost impossible to get the weight of cats once they gain. Some pet owners are just plain stupid.

4. I wonder if it can walk?
Edited on Tue Sep-09-03 11:09 AM by rainydaywoman
It looks like its legs are too short to touch the ground, because its belly is so big!

5. A friend of mine had a really obese cat
I think it weighed in at 45 lbs. It could barely walk and its owner carried it most places. She would hand feed it raw hamberger.

7. we call it "full-figured"...
...at my house. Our big kitty unfortunately (not as big as THAT cat) has hyperthyroidism and lost more than half his body weight over the past yeahr. He's now nearly skin and bones.

11. My vet charges extra for obese pets
My cat is so tiny, she weighs about 5 pounds. It's proportional to her frame.
My dog weighs 45 pounds, again, proportional to her frame. I also feed them some table food, but little snacks, not constant snacks. They play with each other a lot and get exercise that way, chasing each other around and wrestling. My cat really likes dogs.
