2. Are you talking about the USP crap vitamins that the pharmcos
put out? If so... I don't have a problem with these preliminary results.

If you are talking about food formed vitamins and minerals as made by Standard Process, or Intracell.... then you are in for a world of discovery.

The 18-month double-blind, placebo-controlled study includes 280 patients and is the largest ever of its kind. It is designed to confirm earlier smaller-scale research that found that selenium improves cardiac output, vascular function, cholesterol profiles, oxidative stress, and insulin sensitivity in HIV populations. Cardiovascular problems often occur in HIV populations, and can be made more pronounced by anti-HIV medications. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated 900,000 Americans are infected with HIV.

URCHASE, N.Y.--Nutrition 21's Selenomax® high-selenium yeast will be used in a study of selenium intervention in HIV-infected patients. The 18-month study is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and will be conducted at the University of Miami's Behavioral Medicine Research Center. It will include 280 patients and researchers will attempt to confirm smaller studies that selenium improves cardiac output, vascular function and other conditions in HIV populations.
