Poll question: I need a haircut. What should I get? |
|
It's been forever. My hair has gone from a professional chin-length bob to way below my shoulders and out of control.
What should I do with my hair?

Your hair will look neat even as it grows longer. They have to be cut long, though, or it'll look like "The Rachel." :P

9. I said don't bother with the haircut |
|
but only because that's what I prefer.
Go with what feels right, or you probably won't be satisfied with it.
I just let mine go but it's straight so it's probably not as much of a hassle. Is yours a lot of trouble or would tying it up in a knot be sufficient? That's my thing... just wind it up and go.

My hair is naturally wavy, but it's pretty easily tamed -- it doesn't go completely bonkers from air-drying.
I posted this more due to boredom than anything.

11. Might I suggest a 'do that seems to be the new thing... |
|
It's similar to a chin length bob, except that it's layered, even kinda feathered on the sides.
Guess it's the next big thing?

12. That sounds suspiciously like "The Wedge." |
|
Am I not visualizing this right?
(I am so un-trendy it's not funny.)

15. Do you mean the dreaded 'Hamil Wedge'? Yoinks, no. |
|
This hairstyle that I've noticed women wearing lately is more Mod looking, much lighter than a wedge. It's like a bob, but doesn't need bangs, and is more layered than a bob and even kind of feathered around the face. Especially in front of the ears, which is even a little longer than in the back.
It's worn kind of forward, not back.
Good luck.

16. If you're feeling adventurous, there's a website you can go to. |
|
You can upload your picture, and for a small fee, try on a bunch of different styles and colors.
When I was recently looking to update the bunny 'do, I actually did this. It was quite funny - the kids and I had a great time trying on the hair. Afros, long blond stuff, it was quite hilarious putting them onto my picture.
I actually did find something I liked, showed the hairdresser, and she cut it the way I wanted it. I haven't been able to replicate the look at home, but that is my plight - I'm just not good with hair...

20. BLUE MOHAWK! BLUE MOHAWK! |
|
If you ask, nicely, I'll even show you the one dolo amber gave me. Aside from being a little froofish and curly in the absence of some sort of sculpting gel, it is a perfectly cromulent blue mohawk.
