Atkins dieters check in here |

I am at my wits end with the Atkins diet because I don't know how much longer I can eat eggs, meat and cheese. I have a migraine so bad that I am starting to loose sleep and pancakes, pasta and bread keeps flashing in front of my eyes.
I don't have any more protein fingernails to bite off because they were eaten yesterday when I needed a snack on my way home.
I'm so hungry what's your secret?

If you're still in induction, not sure what to suggest. That's hard.
But once you're past that first two weeks, there are plenty of substitutes you can use for almost anything. Bread, pancakes, etc. None are as good as the real thing but most are extremely close.

I cheated a few times so I started over and I have been on Atkins for about two weeks but I started over on Monday.

If you like fried pork skins they are a 0 carb crunchy food. Raspberries, strawbereries, all melons, apricots, papaya,blueberries,blackberries are all Atkins-OK
And don't forget that you can have almost all veggies....you should be eating 1+salads a day. Don't forget to take vitamins too, or at least 'C'.

Yum! Seriously, I used to bring beef jerky around with me all the time back in the states. That's my snack suggestion.

No fries, chips, biscuits, or pasta. Well maybe a little pasta, and some beer.
I'm not religious about it.
I've only lost about 12 pounds, but look and feel a lot better. I've lost a couple of inches around my waist.....
But I eat eggs and cheese and meat like there's no tomorrow. And I push the plate away when I start to feel full.
