Any Tips on ass excersises? |
|
I'm looking for some excercises to tighten & tone up my buttocks. Went to the newstand & looked at some healthe fitness magazines, but they didn;t have any excercises for the butt. I don;t want to join a gym.Just looking ofr simple things around the house I can do. All I can think of is running & stairmaster. I am really dumb when it comes to names of excercises & how to do them. If anyone has links where they give a 1-2-3-diagram on how to do them, I will thank them! I have no idea what a squat thrust is. LOL!
I've been pretty fit this summer but I wish I could tone up a bit. Thanks in advance!

Stairs (two at a time, also a terrific aerobic activity), stairmaster, lunges.
You ought to see the ass on this 46-year-old white man. ;-)

2. yoga gives you a high tight ass. |
|
If possible, take a few classes with a certified instructor to get the technique, but after that you can practice at home with a video or just on your own. All you need is a yoga mat, which you can get at Target for $15.

3. I think leg lifts is a good ass exercise. |
|
You lay on the floor, and slowly lift your legs up and hold them for a few seconds. Then lower them. And repeat.
This is for real. I don't want to turn your post into a sex thread. :-)

10. Hey thanks for the tips! |

I have also been dieting. I will try some other excercises mentioned above. I don't want a pale doughy butt by the end of the year!

Get on the floor on your hands and knees. Make sure you're stable - you can check by lifting one arm or leg, and if you feel nice and stable then you're good.
Look down at the floor in front of you - you want to keep your neck in line with your back.
Slowly lift one leg up, keeping the knee bent... while doing this concentrate on squeeeezing that buttock, exhaling as you go up, then hold for a second, and inhale as you lower the leg. Do this 8 times. Then do 8 more, but this time, when you get your knee up as high as you can without arching your back, slowly extend your foot till your leg is straight, and lift it back up to where it was, squeeeeeezing your buttock really hard as you do.
Then repeat on the other side.

Get down on all fours and do leg raises.
Either keep your leg bent and raise it toward the ceiling like you're balancing a book on the bottom of your foot, or for real results, extend the leg straight back perpendicular to the floor and keep on pulsing. You'll get serious ass burn then a seriously firmed up butt.
Or put the ankle weights on and stand up with legs shoulder width apart. Squat down so that your butt is just above the level of your knees, stand up straight pushing one leg backward and holding it for a few seconds and repeat on alternate legs.
This would also work without the weights but they're pretty cheap, I think I paid $5 for mine.
