Do you have a problem guessing a person's age? |
|
I am the worst judge at guessing a person's age. I met someone this week that looked 40ish to me, but they are 26! I've met people in their 40's that (to me) looked 25. What's wrong with me?

It's that people age differently. Some faster than other. A 26 yr. old who doesn't sleep enough and/or drinks too much can look more haggered than a 40ish person who takes care of themselves.

4. There is quite a bit of variability in the way people look |
|
People the same age can easily look 10-15 years apart. I have noticed this. For fun, go to a personals website where people post their pictures and ages. You'll see big differences.

I can't tell a 40 year old from a 20 year old, but I can't guess weight either. If I ever have to ID somebody for the cops, that person is getting away.

even my one of my doctors ('Doogie Howser') can't believe it-while another one of my doctors who apparently IS my age-is very pleased by it. look at Oprah-she looks 35-and she's 4 days younger than me! I've been told I look 35-40...
